The Fugitive Investigative Unit is comprised of Deputies assigned to the Street Division of the Enforcement Bureau.  These Deputies search for and apprehend fugitives wanted by our department. They are assigned all Grand Jury Indictments, Superior Court Contempt warrants, and Drug Court warrants in Chatham County. 

They also work several of the counties Felony Probation warrants.  In addition they assist by locating fugitives wanted by other counties and states.  They also act on information received from the public through Crime Stoppers and other resources.
